The Varkala Beach is one of the finest beaches in Kerala. Varkala, situated at Pythal Mala hill station, is an important religious place for the Hindus. There are a number of tourist attractions near Varkala Beach. The mineral water gushing from the hill is believed to have medicinal properties and many people come here to drink and bathe in the water from the mineral springs.
